The basics

Runless ("we", "our", "us") provides a workflow analysis tool for GitHub Actions. By using Runless, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What you can do

• Use the free analyzer to check your workflow files
• Share analysis results with others via the generated URLs
• Connect your GitHub account to access premium features
• Use the suggestions and fixes we provide as you see fit

What you shouldn't do

• Use the service to violate any laws
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Abuse the service (excessive automated requests, scraping, etc.)
• Upload malicious content
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Suggestions and fixes — use at your own risk

Runless provides automated analysis and suggestions for improving your GitHub Actions workflows. These suggestions are provided "as is" and we make no guarantees that they will:

• Be appropriate for your specific use case
• Work correctly in your environment
• Not break your existing workflows
• Result in the performance or cost improvements described

You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any changes before applying them to your workflows. We are not liable for any damages, downtime, or issues caused by applying our suggestions.

Always test workflow changes in a non-production environment first.

GitHub integration

When you connect your GitHub account, you authorize us to access certain information as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time through your GitHub settings or by disconnecting within Runless.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub. GitHub is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

Paid features

Some features require a paid subscription. When you subscribe:

• Payment is processed through our payment provider (Polar)
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us if you're unhappy

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until renewal.

Service availability

We aim to keep Runless available and reliable, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runless and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Your content

When you submit workflow files for analysis, you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a license to store, process, and analyze it as necessary to provide the service. You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify registered users by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.
